It’s the time of year for some .. protests. Although.. when is it not?
Protesting is the French national pastime. You probably know this already of course, because it flairs up and makes international news every few years when Macron is trying to take away everyone’s pensions, or telling firemen they need to lose weight, or having nurses wear different uniforms or something.
It’s unhealthy when cities burn, yet healthy as the people still appear to have veto power over their political leaders in a way most other countries seem to have long forgotten. It keeps everyone honest.
And today we’re going to “descendre dans la rue” ourselves and listen-in as two protesting Parisians get a little worried at what they’ve let themselves in for…
